She starts by describing him as a patient: he had pneumonia (he’d been having “gout ailments the previous few times”) which he had missed for the past 13 years. But as he recovered and no longer had any of his medical problems, problems began to start manifesting. He started having serious appendicitis, and he became concerned with taking drugs to keep him from getting better. That’s when he got involved with JoLynn Turner.
As he took him to a University Hospital for help, he was diagnosed with rare congenital hip dysplasia, and he walked and I had to lift and lay him down on the bed and he would walk.
